Infield development is a specialized training that demands precision, structure, and expert-level instruction. At IDA in Visalia, athletes receive far more than generalized baseball training; they enter one of the Central Valley's only facilities dedicated exclusively to the art of infield play. Coach Karlan Andrews brings more than a decade of high-level coaching experience to the training environment, including his current role as Infield Coach at Fresno Pacific University. His professional background also includes two years serving as an associate scout for the Texas Rangers, providing him with a trained evaluators eye for projection, mechanics, and long-term development. Additionally, he has spent seven years developing championship-caliber high school infielders, consistently preparing athletes to compete at the collegiate level and beyond.

This depth of experience is reinforced by ongoing collaboration with college and professional coaches across the country, ensuring that training methods remain aligned with the evolving standards of the modern game. Instruction is deliberate, progressive, and rooted in real-game application not drills for the sake of repetition, but purposeful work designed to translate directly to competition.

Remote Training

$50/Month

Delivered through dedicated training platforms that provide direct, consistent communication with Coach Karlan. Each program is fully customized to address your athletes specific needs. Remote training is done through our App and does not include any in person training.

Small Group Training

$180/Month

Train alongside peers once a week in a competitive, structured environment. Small groups are organized by age and skill level to ensure quality instruction and high-quality repetitions for every athlete. Athletes will also have direct communication with Coach Karlan through the IDA app where he will give weekly drills, breakdowns, video analysis, announcements, and videos of the week.

Team Training

$170/Month

Bring your league or travel team to IDA for specialized infield coaching that elevates the entire roster. Sessions require a minimum of 7 players and are capped at 12 for quality instruction.
